Royal Automotive Care · Gold Coast

The prep behind a
Mercedes-AMG SL63.

A ceramic coating is the final layer. The finish underneath is where the work is won.

THE PROCESS

Protection starts
before the coating.

For Royal Automotive Care, ceramic coating starts well before the final protection layer. On this Mercedes-AMG SL63, the team carried out a thorough pre-wash and decontamination, then inspected the paint under controlled studio lighting.

Machine correction and refinement followed to improve clarity, gloss and the overall finish. GYEON Q² Primer was used as the final preparation stage before GYEON Infinite Base was applied and cured in the studio.

The key point is the work underneath. Careful preparation gives a ceramic coating the foundation to perform.

The result is a deep, clean finish that lets the shape of the SL63 do the talking. The coating protects it, but the careful preparation is what creates the clarity, gloss and depth that make the finished car look right.
